In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through the process of customizing the EasyWebinar widget, allowing you to personalize the look and feel of your registration forms to better match your branding and event needs. Let’s dive in!

Step 1: Access the EasyWebinar Widget

To begin, you'll need to locate the EasyWebinar widget within your EasyWebinar account.

  1. Navigate to the "Promote and Share" section in the main dashboard.

  2. Select the "Embedded Registration Widget" option to open the widget settings.

Step 2: Customize the Widget

Once you’ve accessed the widget, click on "View and Customize" to begin configuring the widget settings.

Step 3: Edit the Registration Form

The registration form can be customized to meet your event’s specific requirements. To edit it:

  1. Go to the "Registration Form" tab.

  2. You’ll be presented with several form customization options, similar to how you would customize a page builder.

  3. To edit existing fields, click on the pencil icon next to the field, make the necessary changes, and save.

  4. If you wish to add new custom fields, select the "Add Custom Field" option. From here, you can choose the field type, configure it, and save your changes.

Step 4: Choose Your Widget Type and Style

Now, let’s move on to the overall appearance of your widget. You can choose between two widget types:

  1. Popover Embed – This is a popup-style widget.

  2. Inline Form Embed – This is a static, embedded form on the page.

For both options, you can customize:

  • Background Color

  • Font Family

  • Padding

Step 5: Deeper Customization via Elements

If you want deeper customization of the widget, head to the "Elements" section. Here you can make the following changes:

  1. Headline: Adjust the font size, text color, and customize the headline text based on your needs.

  2. Sub-headline: Add a sub-headline and customize its text, font size, and color.

  3. Schedule: Display your event’s schedule if desired.

  4. Countdown: Add a countdown timer and choose from two layout options.

  5. GDPR Text: If GDPR is enabled, you can change the color of the GDPR text.

Step 6: Thank You Options

If you want to redirect attendees to a custom thank you page after registration:

  1. Copy the URL of your custom thank you page.

  2. Paste the URL in the Thank You Options section.

Step 7: Add Custom CSS (Optional)

For advanced customizations, you can add your own CSS code:

  1. Navigate to the Advanced Settings section.

  2. Paste your custom CSS code in the provided area.

  3. Save and publish your changes to apply the custom styling.

Step 8: Finalizing and Embedding the Widget

Once you’ve made all the necessary changes:

  1. Save and Publish your settings to ensure all changes are applied.

  2. Copy the embed code provided and add it to your third-party page builder or website.
